Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for purchases of Hakeemify software products and subscriptions. It forms part of our Terms of Service. By purchasing, you agree to this policy.

Our products are digital goods and services delivered electronically. Access is provisioned automatically after payment — usually within minutes — through your account, a license key, a download, or activation of the relevant app or extension.

1. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a subscription at any time:

  • from your account dashboard, or
  • by emailing info@hakeemify.com.

When you cancel:

  • your subscription will not renew for the next billing cycle;
  • you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for; and
  • we do not charge a cancellation fee.

Cancelling stops future charges. It is not the same as a refund of a charge already made — see below.

2. Refunds on subscriptions

  • New subscriptions. If you purchase a paid subscription for the first time and the product does not work as described, contact us within [7] days of your first payment. If we cannot resolve the issue, we will refund that first payment.
  • Renewals. Renewal payments are generally non-refundable, because you can cancel any time before a renewal to avoid it. As a courtesy, if you were charged for a renewal you did not intend and you contact us within [3] days of the renewal without having actively used the product in that new period, we will consider a refund of that renewal.
  • No partial or pro-rata refunds. We do not refund the unused portion of a billing period after it has started, except where required by law or where we discontinue the product (see Section 5).

3. Refunds on one-time purchases (licenses, extensions, tools and credits)

One-time digital purchases — such as browser-extension licenses, tool licenses or AI/usage credits — are non-refundable once the license has been delivered or activated, or once credits have been used, because the digital goods are made available immediately. The exception: if the product is faulty or materially not as described and we are unable to fix it within a reasonable time, contact us within [7] days of purchase and we will provide a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.

4. What is not refundable

  • Charges older than the windows above (except where required by law).
  • Purchases where the issue results from misuse, unauthorised modification, or use that breaches our Terms of Service or a connected platform's rules.
  • Free, trial or promotional access (nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund).
  • Fees charged by third parties (for example, bank or currency-conversion fees).

5. If we discontinue a product

If we stop offering a paid product you are actively subscribed to, we will give you reasonable notice and refund any pre-paid, unused portion of your current subscription term.

6. How to request a refund

Email info@hakeemify.com from the address on your account and include:

  • your name and account email,
  • the product and plan,
  • the order or invoice number and date of purchase, and
  • a short description of the problem.

We aim to respond within [3] business days.

7. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Where your purchase was processed by one of our payment providers or by a Merchant of Record (for example, Paddle), the refund is processed through that provider and appears on the statement for the original payment method. Once approved, refunds typically arrive within [5–10] business days, depending on your bank or provider.

8. Chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Opening a chargeback or dispute before contacting us can delay resolution and may lead to suspension of the related account while the dispute is investigated.

9. Your statutory rights

This policy is in addition to any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law, which it does not limit or exclude.
