Niyom is an offline, local-first habit tracker. This page explains, in plain language, why there is almost nothing here to explain.

The short version: Niyom keeps your habit data on your own device. There is no account, no server that receives your data, and nothing is transmitted. This is why our Play Data Safety declaration says no data is collected.
Niyom is an offline, local-first habit tracker. Your habits, check-ins, rest days, notes, reminders and settings are stored in a local database (SQLite) on your device. This data is not uploaded, synced, transmitted, or seen by us. Because nothing is sent anywhere, there is nothing for us to store, retain, or disclose.
Niyom has no sign-up and no login. You do not create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or any identifier to use the app.
Habit reminders are delivered by your device’s local notification system. They are scheduled and fired entirely on your device. No reminder content is sent to us or to any third party.
The optional Pro unlock is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment; we do not receive or store your payment details. To unlock Pro, the app confirms your entitlement with Google Play — an anonymous check that you own the purchase. No habit data is involved in that check. Google’s handling of purchase data is governed by Google Play’s own privacy policy.
You can export your data to a CSV file at any time. The export is created on your device and goes wherever you choose to save or share it. That choice is yours; the file is not sent to us.
Niyom contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not profile you and we do not build a record of your behaviour.
Niyom is a general-audience habit tracker and is not directed at children.
